Dear organizers of the conference, Presidium members and colleagues! Today I have the honour to present to you my paper on the subject of

“Using Creative Transbiosensorial Technology for Solving Psychosomatic Issues

Through Stimulation on Artistic Activities”

However hard the humans try to move away from nature, they still remain an organic part of it. The preservation of the biological diversity and of the health of the natural systems and the support of the reproductive capacities of nature are essential for the life and the health of the human beings. It is impossible to retain health in a sick environment. The human influence on nature has been taking on the scale of ecological catastrophes and large zones of natural calamities. That is why the natural environment, from its part, fails to provide the humans with the necessary resources, deprives them of the possibility to breathe clean, to drink fresh water and to eat good food, as well as to livein a favourable natural environment. The natural capacities of the environment to purify itself cannot keep up with the ever growing economic activity of the humans. As a result, more and more diseases that affect humans are caused by the pollution of the environment.

The modern civilization cannot turn down the industrial development which continuously increases the pressure on the environment. However, the humanity is capable of and responsible for controlling and minimizing this pressure. The harm inflicted on nature and the human health by the industrial and household pollution cannot be justified by any economic “benefits” from the neglect of the ecological order. A sane environment is expensive, but the human health is priceless.

The traumatizing psychological influence of the various adverse factors on the human mental activity results in stress and mental pressure. That is why the skill of neutralizing this negative influence and of adjusting one’s mental state deliberately, when one wants it, has become particularly valuable.

The aim of this paper is to show the potential of biosensorial psychology based on the stimulation of artistic activity whose main aim is to provide everyone with the additional tools for self-knowledge, self-discovery and, consequently, for recovery of the psychic, physical and mental health.

The skill of managing one’s mind and one’s relations with other people enables a pointed positive influence on the viability of the body and its protection from mental stresses.

A group of researchers from Saint-Petersburg lead by V. V. Tonkov, who personally contributed to this work, have spent for 15 years applying the method of observation of the psychophysiological processes predominantly in the state of extended consciousness to discover the patterns related to the functioning of the human body and psyche.

This is what I would like to speak about today.

In our opinion, the source of divergence of the classical, traditional and sensorial approaches to the human health lies in the underestimation of the properties and the functions of the matter, namely the Informativityand the Concentration of Energy.

         The Informativity is the persistence of the matter’s reactions and is more characteristic of psychic manifestations, while Concentration of Energy is an aspect of the change in the persistence of psycho-matrices and, consequently, a change in the type of the body’s and the psyche’s reaction to the external signals. These properties of the matter coexist, and the qualities of the matter depend on the proportion or the weight of each of the properties at a certain point of time.

Thus, psyche is a function of multilayered physiology, and physiology is a function of universal psyche.

Our observations and researches allow to assume that psyche is a material structure supported with special thin-matter carriers that are realized, directly or indirectly, both in the forms of interactions known to modern science (electromagnetic radiation, gravitational or chemical interaction, etc.), and in the forms of interactions that have not yet been registered by modern measuring devices but have been observed in the state of extended consciousness. The psyche reacts to the disturbed environment, as it possesses a highly organized system of reactions and is composed of certain types of matter, thin matters, and, probably,alien matter, which physicists and astrophysicist refer to more and more often.

On the scale of the level of agitation, all material (including human body) and thin-matter media are in two states: either of increased informativity, or of increased concentration of energy, depending on their proportion.

Informativity is associated with specific interpreters – figures, symbols, sounds, geometrical shapes and forms, colours, etc. – as well as their derivatives – words, speech, images, formulas…

Concentration of energy, on the contrary, may rather be described by abstract, difficult to perceive action interpreters, since the concentration of energy itself is related to the change in the form of the matter, such as warmer-colder, lighter-darker, brighter-dimmer, more-less pleasant, more structured-more chaotic, more active-more passive etc.

This is the fundamental postulate of all physiological and mental phenomena and processes: the higher the informativity of psychic manifestations, the less energy they contain, and vice versa.

The more the person knows and the more information they keep in their memory, the less energy they have in proportion to the total concentration of energy. The more formalized and specific methods we use in the psychological and psychotherapeutic practice, the less efficient and the more dangerous they are, both for the patient and the psychotherapist or counsellor. Let us retain this idea, as we are going to come back to it later.

Transbiosensorial psychotechnology, based on biosensorial psychology, is the science of the subtle perception of the environment by the human being, of the ways to develop this type of perception and of the influence that humans exercise over the environment through their natural capacities.

The main objective of transbiosensorial psychotechnology is the restoration of the integrity of the human body and psyche and, consequently, finding the solution to a range of physiological problems and recovery of the body functions.

The transbiosensorial psychotechnology that we have worked out encompasses all mental interactions, psychological and psychotherapeutic impacts on the body and the environment through thin-matter carriers, while the psyche is presented as a structure composed of various ranges and layers of psychoenenergetic elements of psychomatrices.

According to transbiosensorial psychotechnology, the main reasons for dysfunction of the tissues of the human body are the following:

-        The knowledge acquired in the course of life is recorded in the form of concentrated information structures of static memory in the projection of an organ of a functional system of the body, which impedes the supply of the pure agitated thin-matter energy carrier to the cells for their vital functions.

-        Depending on the subject of the mental and emotional activity, the uncontrolled thoughts and emotions are condensed in the form of pressed mental crystallized layers of rigid structural information.

-        Various rigid radiations emitted by technical objects (heat and power stations, nuclear and power stations, communication and media devices, radiotelephones, computers, etc.) the main impact of which is based on the immobility of the space around the person.

-       Geo- and biopathogens and other factors related to the waste products.

-        Air pollution and wrong breathing.

-        Excess of low quality products and over-processed products.

-        Excess of drugs.

-        Other psychosomatic factors.

The reasons cited above lead to the disruption of the essential rhythms of the body, including craniosacral rhythms, and result in the dysfunction of body systems and tissues.

Taking into account the foregoing, the main principles for recovery of tissues and functional systems through transbiosensorial psychotechnology are the methods that allow to mobilize the systems and organs by attracting, assimilating and assuring pointed impact of a thin-matter energy carrier in the required area of the human body and the environment, with a required intensity. At the moment of mobilization, a sharp change of the reactions system of the body occurs, through the activation of the state of the energy carrier approaching a cell and conferring to it a potential to recover.

The system of reactions of the body is based on specific archetypes or infrareflexes, the so-called “forms” that determine, for instance, the number of arms and legs, the outline, the physiology and the methods of physiological reaction, and further acts through conditioned and unconditioned responses.

The reason is that the physical body is one of the parts of the psyche expressed through its respective reactions to the surrounding physical world. Thus, the task of biosensorial psychology and of transbiosensorial psychotechnology that is derived from it expands: to open the “door”, to establish communication between the departments of the psyche and the physical body, and give an opportunity to the vessels that have somehow lost connection with each other to reunite, thus levelling the general balances, and not the separate local balances. As a result, part of the “psychic” will be transformed into the “physical”, and vice versa.

The structures of the body, balanced to their natural required state, will not allow any deviations to develop, and will, besides, “dissolve” the existing ones. Moreover, the adaptation capacity of the body and the psyche will increase dramatically, as well as their mutation capacity.

An expert in transbiosensorial psychotechnology works with the natural sensitivity indicators, using the mechanisms of hypersensitivity, hyper-receptivity and higher psychic and biological energy and information exchanges.

This differs such an expert from academic medicine specialists dramatically, since in this field the expertise does not require being capable of working with drug handbooks and measuring devices, but mastering the methods of extrasensory perception and extrasensory regulation. Such an expert requires specific manageable bioenergy resources, which all people have but do not often use, as well as a practical experience of application of these capacities.

By the type of impact on the body and the psyche, the methods of transbiosensorial psychotechnology may be divided into 3 groups:

- psychological methods;

- material methods;

- presence effects.

The effect of all areas of transbiosensorial psychotechnology is based on the following processes:

- bioenergy exchange quantity distribution process,

- resonance and agitation process,

- complementing mental (thought-combining) process.

Transbiosensorial psychotechnology includes meditative recovery technique typical of Oriental medicine, Ayurveda, that are aimed at using the vital forces of the human body; they are intertwined with the progress of the Western medicine, which is aimed at getting a quick effect.

         A special role in transbiosensorial psychotechnology is attributed to the new group of energy-sensorial breathing psychotechnologies that allow to alter the states of human consciousness to possibly restore the body functions. These have been developed as a separate trend in the area of breathing psychotechnologies, and in their secondary features they coincide with the techniques that are currently used in psychology and psychotherapy: Rebirthing by Leonard Orr and HolotropicBreathwork by Stanislav Grof.

Art as the highest form of creativity, in its universal sense, is typical of all levels of the life hierarchy.

In the framework of transbiosensorial psychotechnology, emergence is perceived as a spontaneous, spiritual, creative “leap”, when the “superconscious” is activated, and it allows the person to get rid of the psychological trauma and psychophysical limitations.

The following principles are the founding principles of transbiosensorial psycho-correction based on the stimulation of creative activity: the Principle of Integrity, the Principle of Conditionality, the Principle of Positivity, Principle of Correlation, and Principle of Subjectivity.

The structure of the educational processes within the method of transpersonal biosensorial creative activity is the following: Reproduction, Remembering, Reconstruction, Repeated experience and Solution.

Empirical observations of many years have proven that in the course of physchotherapeutic correction by the methods of transbiosensorial creative activity, the person first acts as a creator (artist, poet, musician, etc.), then becomes an observer, which further initiates the feeling of integrity and harmony of the image of “Self”.

         Transbiosensorial creative activity helps to remove psychologic traumatic impact, to increase stress tolerance, and recover physical and psycho-emotional health both in professional field and in everyday life.

Thus, in the framework of Transpersonal biosensorial creative activity (TBCA), emergence and creativity should be viewed as a feature of the personality, characteristic of every human being who has developed in favourable social circumstances.

The application of the creative transbiosensorial psychotechnology for resolving psychosomatic issues through the stimulation of creative activity has implied the elaboration of specific methods and techniques.

         In the course of research and approbation, the following have been employed: functional and clinical diagnostics, valid and reliable psychological tests, questionnaires, survey on the questionnaires and report forms.

The majority of the respondents were the participants of the course “Energy Breathwork” and the intensive course “Spontaneous Painting” at the Health Centre “IRBIS-STUDIO”, as well as the participants of practical seminars held both in Russia and abroad. Altogether, the research looked at more than 20,000 people of both sexes, aged form 19 to 69.

Let me present the main features of the Creative Transbiosensorial Psychotechnology for resolving psychosomatic issues through the stimulation of creative activity:

       -    In the course of a session, the person enters a state that may be called “deep plunge into self” , which does not in any way affect the somatic state of the autonomic nervous system.

         The methods of transpersonal biosensorial creative activity have a rather large range of application: neurotic disorders related to self-respect and self-affirmation issues.

       -    Very soon, after 2-3 sessions, the patient is relieved from depressive and related states, and post-traumatic syndrome.

Full recovery of psychophysical health for patients suffering from:

-      Somatic disorders of autonomic nervous system;

-      Various manifestation of chronic disorders;

The recovery and developing effect of the transpersonal biosensorial creative activity is first and foremost based on the developing of the extrasensory system (eyesight, hearing, smell, touch and sense of balance).

By applying the enlarged capacities, the person gets an opportunity to liberate the mind and the body from any limits, blocks and programs. This is the educational effect of the self-regulation. Creative Transbiosensorial Psychotechnology helps to remove psychologic traumatic impact, to increase stress tolerance, and recover physical and psycho-emotional health.

Unlike the art therapy methods, transbiosensorial psychotechnology achieves a harmonious psycho-emotional state through the activation of energy-processing zones, through the use of special exercises for the development of extrasensory perception, first of all, as well as the stimulation of the human creative activity.

The program of Creative Transbiosensorial Psychotechnology for resolving psychosomatic issues through the stimulation of creative activity includes: painting, photography, poem writing, creation of musical pieces and other ways of self-expression through art. This unique system of psychophysical regulation uses individual configuration for a specific period of time:

1. The biosensorial method of stimulation of creative activity combined with relaxation results in deep psycho-corrective states. The person is in the state of bodily and emotional realization, which requires “disconnecting” from our habitual social consciousness and working directly with the issues, internal resources and demands of a person (including, working directly or indirectly with the spiritual capacities and issues).

         2. Creative Transbiosensorial Psychotechnology for resolving psychosomatic issues through the stimulation of creative activity is an experimental unique method of psycho-energy-informational impact on the crises states of a person for people who have lived through psychologic traumatic experience. It is a special type of psycho-emotional activity based on the combination of multiple types of activity. The process is integral, as it involves integration of various types and levels.

The research results allow to claim that the methods of Creative Transbiosensorial Psychotechnology for resolving psychosomatic issues through the stimulation of creative activity have a positive impact on all organs and systems of the human body, as well as the entire bioenergy system, and, consequently, they influence the psychophysical state of the person, their self-recovery, control of the psycho-emotional sphere through biosensorial practice.

         The methods of Creative Transbiosensorial Psychotechnology for resolving psychosomatic issues through the stimulation of creative activity have proven their recovery and developing effect for:

- stressful situations, in case of chronic fatigue, and irritability;

-  reactive states following psychological and physical injuries;

-  psychological issues in relationship and communication;

-  decision making issues;

-  various dependency issues (game, food, alcohol, drug, nicotine and other dependencies);

-  depressive states and apathy;

-  phobias, fears and lack of self-confidence;

-  studies and work issues;

-  family problems;

-  somatic disorders (visceral disorders, nervous, endocrine and immune systems dysfunction of psycho-somatic nature)

- complications following injuries and surgeries.

Conclusions.

1. A new scientific sphere has been experimentally proven, and a technology for ecologic safety of human health has been developed.

          2. It has been confirmed that transbiosensorial creative activity encourages personal and spiritual evolution and fits perfectly the modern scientific concept of the integral image of the world and the human being within it, and assists the psychic individuation of the person.

         3. The possibility of personal growth through transpersonal biosensorial methods of psycho-correction has been determined and justified.

4.  We have confirmed and proven the effectivity of the psycho-correction and recovery impacts of the Creative Transbiosensorial Psychotechnology on the general state, the mental state and the psyche both of the people who have lived through psychologic traumatic experience, and of those whose professional activity is related to extreme psycho-emotional pressures (rescuers, actors, riot police and security, businessmen etc.), as well as of children suffering from underdevelopment.

I would like to finish my today’s speech with a quotation from the book “Conversations on the Extra-Consciousness” by V. V. Tonkov: “Biosensorial psychology is a new area of science that studies the issues of human psyche by the combination of methods of classical psychology and psychoanalysis, in the light of the human capacity for paranormal effects”.
