Leadership can be a position, place, process, or outcome, not a requirement to be a person. The issue is what will you give and what will you take?
On the occasion of the UAE’s winning of membership in the United Nations Security Council for the period 2022-2023, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, may God protect him, said, “The good reputation and progress that the UAE has achieved is thanks to Sheikh Zayed, may God rest his soul.”
“The election of the UAE to membership in the Security Council for the period 2022-2023 reflects its active diplomacy and international position. All thanks to the Emirati diplomatic team led by Abdullah bin Zayed.. We look forward to an active, positive and active membership term.”

Indeed, the UAE’s winning of membership in the United Nations Security Council with 179 votes is an embodiment of its great position regionally and internationally. Because of its pioneering role in achieving peace, stability and sustainable development for the benefit of all mankind.
The victory is the culmination of the UAE and its diplomacy, as it will work hand in hand with the international community to maintain and strengthen international peace and security, and solve issues of peace, sustainability, climate, extremism and terrorism.
The UAE will certainly present its experience in promoting gender equality and tolerance, combating global health crises, and harnessing innovation to serve peace.
Perhaps the beauty of leadership lies in leading the group to the fore and excellence by seeking opinion and applying the principle of equality, understanding the group’s orientation, rules and roles, thinking about consumption rates and then transforming into self-sufficient societies, fighting social distancing, and making sure that negative events are not repeated in the future, as It builds flexible visions and strategies; To find solutions at the lowest possible cost and time period by applying the most important international standards such as health, digital transformation, climate change, and societal disparity.
